Declan certainly had a healthy appetite, that was for sure. Aoba could only imagine how much a guy as big as him really needed to eat!

He was, in fact, watching Declan rather more than he was paying attention to his own food. Sure, it was great to have some real food in his own stomach at last, but as soon as he realized Declan was sitting with an empty bowl Aoba asked, “Ready for seconds?”

And even as he was asking, he was already moving, standing up with his own near-empty bowl in hand (might as well top it off) while reaching for Declan’s empty.
