The Titan didn't see it that way of course, but he knew better than to bring anything up that might draw attention to the situation as a whole. He was feeling more like the lucky one of the two. When he decided to swing on the man in the bathroom he hadn't realized how much of his life would change in such a short span of time. He wasn't complaining at all, but it was interesting to see what a leap of faith and a little common decency could do to two lives.

"You may cook as often as you like. I will always look forward to it," Declan replied, nodding slowly and settling into the food. He polished it off in no time, even with impeccable manners. Instead of asking for more, he quietly waiting on Aoba, feeling it more important for someone who actually needed food to get his fill first.
