"I'm not though," Declan mumbled, tilting his head slightly and pursing his lips before looking down at the bowl with a pleased smile.

"I've never had a home cooked meal before. I've only ever had food from mess or rations packets. This is absolutely the best thing I've ever had. If doing the right thing was always this rewarding it wouldn't be so hard for some people."
