"Mhm. He's far more familiar with the Reef than I am, and he's a lot more socially active so you'll probably have more fun anyways," Declan said, without sounding the least bit hurt. He knew he wasn't as entertaining a person as the Warlock, but that was just how things went; warlocks were a bizarre bunch. Not as party-hard as Hunters, but definitely interesting. Mac straddled the line between Hunter and Warlock a lot; if there was anyone to show Aoba a good time while Declan was gone, it was him.
