Aoba stared more than a little blankly, absorbing the vast difference between thinking patrols meant along the walls of the city, and learning it meant Russia. Looking down at the stone in his hand made him blush again and move to put it down on the counter, though he did so with care and did not drop it. He couldn’t say it bothered him, really, but….
