A helmet would have been a good idea for Reno on any given day. Of course, Makishima didn't need to know just how much trouble the redhead got himself into. He'd find out soon enough. Better to postpone it as long as possible.

Glancing around and noting that everyone had awkwardly left the area, Reno realized that he didn't care all that much that he was making things a little awkward. It was much too nice, being favored in such a way, to give up just for the comfort of strangers.

I mean I embarrass myself all the time, and being embarrassing in an affectionate way is okay, but I don't wanna mess up something you really care about. You sure you're okay with this?
