Thump! That’s a rather meaty-sounding thud as the Geodude’s fist collides with—Pak’s back, as the creature takes a tumble forward over Nora’s shoulder just in time to bellyflop right onto poor Magnolia. Nobody’s upholding Double Battle rules here, nope, though Pak still winces at the taken blow, despite Magnolia’s growl having flustered the Geodude’s attack somewhat.
And then—and it’s a home run! Which is to say that’s one (1) Geodude shooting through the air and slamming into a far cavern wall hard enough to get embedded in its own little crater, courtesy of one hammer-wielding Nora. Actually it looks rather comfortable for a rock-type Pokémon and all. A hole fitted just for it.
Nora does not pursue. It’s perhaps an uncharacteristic bit of restraint from her…but these Pokémon are a lot closer to wild animals than Grimm. Why, she didn’t even accompany that side-swing with a triumphant cry of any kind. It’s no fun bashing little animals around, but you gotta protect your own, right?
