And that’s how Team MRPN—or at least, the human half of it—learned that people in this world apparently don’t react well to getting manhandled. Even the Carvanha and Poochyena seem shocked when they’re leapt right past and their trainer is directly attacked instead.

As any good Pokémon, though, they move to try and defend their master anyway—but are promptly recalled back into their Pokéballs by the grunt, who is very much in favor of his arms staying right where they belong and not snapped.

These kids are building up quite the reputation for themselves in short order, but hey, they're 17. That makes them really old in Pokemon adventure years compared to all the 10-year-olds around.
