Nobody knew anything about portals. Someone did tell them about a move called “Teleport”, though. And then they had to explain “moves”, and battling, and the natural abilities of Pokémon…. It was a crash course if they’d ever had one, so thank goodness they had the perfect student on hand. Not that Nora failed to learn anything of use, mind you. She learned that Pak was a “Slakoth” and Magnolia was a “Ralts” and someone even gave them both a free set of “Pokéballs”.

Nora looked down at the device, then at Pak. They’d seen the devices in use several times already, but….
