Nora’s managed to get herself halfway up that tree along with Pak, now, hanging from the underside of a sturdy branch not unlike a sloth herself. There’s a couple Taillow chirping away up there—except for the part where they suddenly go silent.
Ren’s Aura-sensing fails him. Naturally, so does Nora’s. She has no sense at all of that feeling that they’re being watched…but really, neither of the young Hunters can really be faulted there. The creatures investigating them are just as—if not more—intelligent as they themselves.
But what Nora does do is look back to see how Ren is doing—and that’s when she gasps and promptly loses her hold. She hits the ground a little hard but barely feels it, sitting up sprawled with wide eyes and an open mouth turning into a broad grin.
Fearless and naïve, she’s ignorant to the nature of the Pokémon hovering quietly behind her friend other than it’s big and blue and levitating. That’s like flying! It’s a big, flying Pokémon! And it’s so handsome! You know, for a creature that looks vaguely like a small airship in shape.
Thus she, in turn, fails to notice what happens right behind her. The air shimmers and flickers as a smaller red version of the Pokémon she sees behind Ren rustles its feathers and drops its invisibility at her back, stretching its head up to accept a berry held out to it by the ever-sleepy-looking Pak.
